Summer 2017 Capsule Drop
Unique, exclusive, custom, hand crafted, FIRE... Just a few words to describe our Summer 2017 capsule.
Our unique hand dip dyed shirts are made in small batches the old way, with a bucket of dye and a stick to manage. No timer, no machines, and definitely no automation - just years of experience and a keen sense of timing. Our garment dyed pieces were crafted in a similar way, limited batch runs using hand mixed dyes.
Every garment designed was created with purpose and many have a story behind them. All items were thought out, calculated, and are a representation of Hawaii’s unique and ever evolving island street culture. Soft, lightweight, breathable fabrics are used across all items of this capsule making them perfect for the rising Summer heat.
The custom color palette is a reflection of Hawaii's unique environment and the hues were pulled directly from Hawaii’s surroundings. Newly developed land, both petrified molten lava and man made concrete, were the inspiration for our Obsidian Blacks and Concrete Grays. The Dip Dye Blue and Ultra Blue hues were inspired by the unique colors found in the Hawaiian sky and sea.
